10. Contribute to a higher cause
At this stage it is now time to move towards expanding from a focus on personal needs to opening up to others.
This requires honing your skills in communication, being a role model for others and expanding your circle of influence by becoming a leader. Through your new skills you can become more people oriented and you will be able to synergize efforts through win-win situations.
Initially you may be drawn towards the goals and activities that provide you with personal growth, enjoyment, health, wealth and satisfaction. But as you mature and become more confident and personally satisfied you may feel the need to tap into something bigger than yourself, a project that will sustain others to enhance their way of living. As your circle of influence expands so will your ability to leave a mark and a legacy behind you.
Again, life situations will indicate what your Big Work in life will be. When the right time comes the signs of life will show you which direction you need to take, and then, as always, it is up to you to take the new challenge. Contributing to a higher cause provides intrinsic satisfaction, peace and harmony with the world. Happiness derived from material success on its own is fickle. Nevertheless, if it is combined with a cause that helps you to move out of yourself and be of service to others you will be sowing the seeds of true fulfillment.
