2. Change your Motion and Language
Unless you have heard of this before, you might find it strange that the words we use on a daily basis and the way we physically move can actually influence the way that we feel. Our emotions are effected not only by what happens to us and the way that we filter our experiences but also by the way we use our language, the posture we maintain and the energy we put in our body movements. Just consider the bombardment of negative media we receive everyday, the people who have negative attitudes and the words we use ourselves to understand the extent that simple language can have on our emotional state.
Working on our language and motion will help us to charge our body and language in a way that boosts our emotional state.
During this chapter we will be reviewing certain traits that may lead to negative emotional states and you will be given several suggestions on how to take control of your language and physical behavior.
